PlannerMY Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

• Account information such as name, email address, phone number and password (stored in encrypted form), or your Google account name and email if you choose to continue with Google.
• Purchase and subscription information such as package, payment status, order and invoice records, transaction reference and renewal history.
• Licence and device information such as your licence key, a random device identifier created by the app, device type, browser, and activation dates. This is used to apply your package's device limit.
• Planner content: with Individual and Combo, everything you write (tasks, notes, handwriting, photos and so on) is saved only on your device and is not sent to us. With Cloud, a copy is stored on our servers so your devices can sync.
• Reminder information: if you turn on reminders, the titles and times of your upcoming event reminders are stored so they can be delivered as notifications.
• Technical information such as browser type, device type, IP address, sign-in activity, error logs and performance data.
• Support information such as messages, screenshots and feedback you send us.

2. Payment Information

Payments are processed by the CHIP payment gateway using FPX online banking. We never see or store your bank login details. We do not automatically deduct future payments: when a Cloud subscription ends, you choose whether to pay again to continue.

3. How We Use Information

• To create, manage and secure your account.
• To deliver licence keys, activate devices, apply device limits and prevent licence keys from being shared or misused.
• To provide Cloud sync and backups, and to deliver reminders you have turned on.
• To send important emails such as receipts, licence keys, password resets, renewal notices and service updates.
• To provide customer support, fix technical problems and improve the planner.

4. Data Stored on Your Device

The planner saves your content in your browser or installed app on each device. Uninstalling the app or clearing your browser data can delete it. We recommend using the backup feature regularly. Cloud subscribers also have an online copy.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. Information is shared only when needed with service providers who help us run PlannerMY, such as our hosting provider, the CHIP payment gateway, email delivery, Google (if you continue with Google), and the notification services of Apple, Google and Mozilla (for reminders), or when required by law.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted passwords and signed access passes for licensed devices. No online system is completely risk-free, so please keep your password, licence key and devices secure.

7. Data Retention

Account, purchase and billing records are kept as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and accounting requirements. Cloud data is kept while your subscription is active and may be deleted some time after it ends. You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see below).

8. Cookies and Local Storage

PlannerMY uses cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember your language, recognise licensed devices, save your planner on your device, and keep the service secure.

9. Children

PlannerMY has a kids mode. A parent or guardian should purchase the planner, manage the account and supervise its use by children.

10. Your Rights

In line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data. Some information may need to be kept for billing, legal, security or operational reasons.

11. Policy Updates

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of PlannerMY after an update means you accept the latest version.
